Handy Hints and Tips for Effective Stain Removal


For Best Results:

Stains should be dealt with as soon as they occur
Try stain removing product on an unobtrusive area first for colourfastness and compatibility
Do not use stain remover on clothing whilst wearing

Washable Colourfast Clothing and Fabrics

Remove excess staining before treating the stain
Apply the stain removing product to the front of the stain, and if possible the back as well, and blot the area; remove as much of oily stains as possible before washing
Wash in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions; using a pre-wash programme on a washing machine, use a higher temperature if possible
Do not overload your washing machine; the fewer items there are the better the wash!

Furnishings and Non Foam Backed Carpets

Remove excess staining, spray the stain remover on to a cloth and blot the area, wash area thoroughly with proprietary shampoo and rinse and dry.

Hard Surfaces

Spray the stain remover directly onto the stain and wipe off once stain has loosened, rinse and dry.
